Palak Harley Patel, MD Primary Care, Family Medicine

Palak Patel, MD, earned her medical degree from G.M.E.R.S. Medical College in Gotri, India. Originally from Bharuch, India, she was drawn to family medicine because of the opportunity to care for patients of all ages, build meaningful long-term relationships, and focus on preventive care that supports lifelong health. Dr. Patel has gained clinical experience in primary care, pediatrics, cardiology, and occupational medicine in both India and the United States. She has a special interest in preventive medicine, patient education, and community health. Her experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and outpatient primary care reinforced the importance of early intervention, patient education, and helping people make informed decisions about their health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys dancing, hiking, creating henna (Mehndi) and Rangoli art, painting, listening to Gujarati folk and Bollywood music, and playing chess.
