Gurinder Dhanju, MD, MPH, brings a unique perspective to family medicine shaped by experience in diagnostic imaging, public health, and clinical medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara, Romania, and later completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. After medical school, Dr. Dhanju worked as a sonographer at a tertiary care hospital in Canada, where he collaborated closely with physicians and cared for patients with a wide range of medical concerns. He then transitioned to clinical medicine in primary care and gynecology settings, experiences that strengthened his appreciation for communication, teamwork, and helping patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive health concerns. He has also contributed to clinical research and presented work at national and international conferences. In addition to his interest in medicine, Dr. Dhanju enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and camping. He especially enjoys wilderness travel and has completed a 6,000-mile camping trip to Alaska.
