Cara Kendrick is a doctorally prepared pediatric nurse practitioner and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in pediatric primary care. Cara was born and raised in Isle of Palms, SC. She attended the College of Charleston for her undergraduate studies, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Public Health. She then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. Cara worked as a Registered Nurse for six years, most of which was spent in pediatric critical care. She then chose to continue her education with MUSC where she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Cara has always had a passion for working with children and their families and is looking forward to following your children as they grow. Cara currently resides in Mount Pleasant with her husband and two young children, Case and Cali. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
