Roger Kevin Griggs, MD

Dr. R. Kevin Griggs is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over 30 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages. He currently practices primary care at **MUSC Chapin**, where he is known for his **concierge-level approach**, emphasizing wellness, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and meaningful, long-term patient relationships.

A South Carolina native, Dr. Griggs began his career as a paramedic, gaining hands-on experience that shaped his relationship-driven approach to medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where he served as Senior Class President, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at **Prisma Health/Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital**, serving as Chief Resident and receiving the **Resident of the Year award from the South Carolina Medical Association**.

Dr. Griggs is **procedure-oriented**, offering minor surgical, aesthetic, women's health procedures, vasectomies, and other minimally invasive interventions, all performed with precision, safety, and patient comfort in mind.
