Kerry Briones, M.D. Primary Care, Internal Medicine in Indian Land, SC

Dr. Kerry Briones is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to helping adults achieve and maintain their best health through preventive care, chronic disease management, and personalized treatment plans. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, healthy aging, diabetes management, hypertension, high cholesterol, and lifestyle factors that support long-term wellness.





Dr. Briones earned a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, where she also completed a certificate in Spanish. After spending a year teaching high school through AmeriCorps in Los Angeles, she attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors.





She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and subsequently served on faculty at both MUSC and UNC Chapel Hill. Before joining MUSC Health in Indian Land, she practiced in the Charlotte region with Atrium Health and Tryon Medical Partners.





At MUSC Health Primary Care - Bridgemill, Dr. Briones partners with patients to provide comprehensive primary care focused on prevention, early detection, and management of chronic conditions. She believes in building lasting relationships with patients and empowering them to make informed decisions that support their overall health and well-being.
