Dr. Brandon Brown is a native of Dillon, South Carolina, and attended Erskine College where he received his undergraduate degree. He completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and attended MUSC/Trident Family Medicine Residency Program serving as chief resident his last year. After graduating residency, he worked as a private hospitalist before returning to MUSC Department of Family Medicine to work as an academic hospitalist. He oversees the family medicine inpatient curriculum and serves as the director of inpatient medicine. He is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine serving on the Hospital Trained in Family Medicine committee. His teaching interest include both medical student and resident education.
