Ryan Carr, MD is a board-certified dermatopathologist with dual board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology. He completed his medical education and fellowship training in dermatopathology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Yale School of Medicine (Yale-New Haven Hospital). Dr. Carr has extensive experience diagnosing a broad spectrum of skin disorders, including inflammatory and non-inflammatory conditions, melanocytic and pigmented lesions, non-melanoma skin cancers, cutaneous adnexal lesions, infectious processes, and complex inflammatory dermatoses. His diagnostic approach emphasizes accuracy, clinical correlation, and evidence-based pathology to support optimal patient care. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Carr has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and medical publications. He is a frequent national lecturer on topics in dermatopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology, reflecting his commitment to education and advancing the field.
