Robert Hefner, PA Cardiology in Orangeburg, SC

Robert M. Hefner is a licensed and board-certified physician assistant with a special interest in Cardiology. Robert completed his bachelor's degree in biology at Charleston Southern University where he was awarded as an outstanding graduate. He served as a paramedic for 911 ambulance services in the Lowcountry, gaining over 8 years of field experience in pre-hospital medicine before his physician assistant training. Robert returned to Charleston Southern to earn his Master of Medical Science (MMSc) in Physician Assistant Studies and now aspires to bring high-quality specialty medical care to rural and underserved areas. He places a special emphasis on strong development of patient-clinician relationships and education, so that each patient can make an informed and motivated decision with a clinician they trust.
