Richard Lueking, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also serves as Co-Medical Director of the System Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at MUSC and Infectious Diseases fellowship at UT Southwestern, where he was Chief Fellow. His academic interests include antimicrobial stewardship, HIV care, diagnostic stewardship, and global health. Dr. Lueking is an award-winning educator and mentor, recognized with multiple teaching and faculty honors at MUSC.
