**Nicole Ritter, AuD, CCC-A** is a clinical audiologist within the Department of Otolaryngology - Head \& Neck Surgery at MUSC. She received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Ithaca College and her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology from Ohio University. She completed her clinical externship at University of Cincinnati Health. Here she focused on the diagnosis of adult hearing disorders and treatment through hearing aids and implantable devices. She also received training in vestibular testing for balance disorders. Dr. Ritter joined MUSC faculty in 2020. Her clinical interests include diagnosis of adult and pediatric hearing disorders, adult audiologic rehabilitation through consult and fitting of traditional hearing aids and implantable bone anchored hearing aids. Her interests also lie in diagnostic testing of balance disorders and dizziness through videonystagmography, posturography, video head impulse testing and vestibular evoked myogenic potential testing, serving as a preceptor to fourth year audiology externs and participating in departmental vestibular and hearing science research project. Dr. Ritter is a member of American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), American Balance Society (ABS), Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA), and South Carolina Academy of Audiology (SCAA).
