Dr. Kathryn Anderson is a board-certified internal medicine physician who treats patients ages 18 and older. Dr. Anderson earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. After graduating, she moved to Philadelphia to complete her residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Upon returning to Charleston, Dr. Anderson joined MUSC Health as a primary care doctor.Dr. Anderson's interests include preventive care, cancer screenings, chronic disease management -including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes- and the diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions and illness. Her approach to patient care is to meet patients where they are and to apply the latest updates and guidelines in evidence-based medicine to their treatment for the most successful patient outcomes.
