Joshua Mixson, M.D., is a geriatrician and internal medicine physician who specializes in the care of older adults. Dr. Mixson completed his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. A native of South Carolina, Dr. Mixson earned his medical degree, completed his residency training in internal medicine, and completed his fellowship training in geriatric medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Dr. Mixson will be seeing patients 70 years of age and older at University Internal Medicine-Rutledge Tower. His clinical interests include dementia, fall prevention, and frailty in older adults.
