Faisal Tamimi, MD

Dr. Faisal A. Tamimi, M.D., is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with extensive training in cardiovascular disease, structural heart interventions, and advanced cardiac imaging. He completed his Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside and Beth Israel, following residencies and fellowships in internal medicine and pulmonary hypertension at leading institutions in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Tamimi earned his MBBS with Second Degree Honors from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and holds board certification in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiovascular computed tomography. He has contributed to numerous publications and presentations on topics such as pulmonary embolism response teams, left ventricular thrombus management, and complex structural heart procedures. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Tamimi enjoys running, swimming, skiing, and tennis, and is dedicated to global health initiatives, including volunteer work with Syrian refugees.
