Teresa D Macpherson, MD

Tracy Macpherson, MD (Dr. Mac), is a board-certified pediatrician who has been practicing in Orangeburg for over 30 years. Her care encompasses well-child and adolescent care, acute illnesses, chronic care, and mental health services. Her special interests include educating patients on healthy lifestyles, managing chronic illnesses such as asthma and ADHD, and caring for premature infants. Dr. Mac particularly enjoys educating her patients, staff, and students. She is committed to delivering the best possible care while respecting the personal goals of each patient and parent. She finds providing pediatric care to a second generation of patients most rewarding.

She earned her medical degree at MUSC School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at MUSC, where she served as co-chief resident in 1990. Since then, she has practiced as a general pediatrician. For over ten years, her office and staff have operated under the Patient-Centered Medical Home model, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.

Dr. Mac values community involvement and currently serves on the the hospital Foundation Board, chairs the Board of The Palmetto Trail, and volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America.
