Sidney Morrison, M.D.

Dr. Sidney Emmett Morrison III, MD, is a seasoned colorectal surgeon practicing in Columbia, South Carolina, with over 43 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1981, followed by a general surgery residency at Tulane University and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Since 1987, Dr. Morrison has been a dedicated member of the Columbia medical community, serving as a founding member of ColoRectal Associates and holding a clinical professorship at the University of South Carolina's Department of Surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and holds active medical licenses in South Carolina and Louisiana.
