Shelia Scott, APRN

Shelia Scott is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the Medical University of South Carolina. She also holds certification from the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals. With more than twenty years of nursing experience in critical care and surgery, she brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to patient care. Shelia has experience as a nurse practitioner working in rural urgent care in the greater Pee Dee Area of South Carolina after years of working as a registered nurse (RN) at a large regional medical center. Her clinical expertise includes performing detailed patient evaluations, managing diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal quality health care outcomes. Shelia's primary focus is on providing preventive and compassionate patient centered care to patients of all ages. Shelia is passionate and willing to provide a strong working relationship with patients to empower optimal healthcare through personal strategies, lifestyle modifications, and better understanding of patients' needs and support. A native of Florence, she enjoys living there and caring for her community while traveling the world with family and friends.
