He initially worked as an academic oncology hospitalist at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. He recently completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Drexel, where he served as chief fellow. His interest is in the treatment of acute leukemia and myelodysplastic disorders and clinical research and teaching.
