Molly Silkowski, D.O. Cardiology, Heart Failure & Transplant, Interventional Cardiology

Dr. Molly Silkowski, D.O. is a dual subspecialty-trained cardiologist specializing in interventional cardiology and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. She cares for patients across the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease, from stable, chronic cardiac conditions to complex coronary artery disease, advanced heart failure, and cardiogenic shock. Dr. Silkowski earned her medical degree from Kansas City University. She completed residency training in internal medicine at The Ohio State University and fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), receiving numerous awards recognizing her clinical excellence throughout both residency and fellowship. She remained at MUSC to complete subspecialty fellowship training in both advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology and interventional cardiology. Dr. Silkowski's clinical interests include cardiovascular critical care, cardiogenic shock, complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), invasive hemodynamics, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac transplantation. Her dual subspecialty training allows her to care for patients across the continuum of cardiovascular disease from the longitudinal management of chronic cardiac conditions to the care of critically ill patients requiring complex coronary intervention, temporary mechanical circulatory support, durable LVAD therapy, or cardiac transplantation.
