Michael Monahan, DO

Michael B. Monahan, DO, FACOS, is a board-certified urologist with extensive experience in advanced and comprehensive urologic care. He joins his current practice after holding multiple leadership roles at Albany Urology Clinic in Albany, Georgia, where he served as a partner, Director of Pharmacy, and Director of the Surgery Center.

Dr. Monahan completed his urology residency at Michigan State University within the Beaumont Hospital System, serving as Chief Resident, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia.

Highly trained in endourology, robotic-assisted surgery, and laparoscopic urology, Dr. Monahan has completed advanced training through nationally recognized programs including the Da Vinci® Robotic Surgery Program, Cleveland Clinic, University of Michigan, and Ohio State University. He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery in Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.

Dr. Monahan has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and has served in faculty roles with several medical institutions. His background in leadership, education, and minimally invasive surgery reflects a strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered urologic care.
