Melissa Elen, M.D. Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery

Dr. Melissa Elen is a dermatologist with more than 16 years of experience caring for patients with a wide range of skin conditions. She offers comprehensive skin care, including medical dermatology, skin cancer treatment and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Elen earned her medical degree and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. She went on to receive specialized training in Mohs micrographic surgery, a precise and tissue-sparing technique for removing skin cancer at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, Netherlands. She has practiced at leading dermatology centers across Belgium and the Netherlands and is an active member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV). Her areas of focus include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, general dermatology and skin surgery. Dr. Elen believes in personalized care and takes time to explain each patient's condition and treatment options clearly. She is fluent in English, Dutch and French.
