Megan Gilson is an adult nurse practitioner specializing in hematology and oncology services. She has a particular clinical interest in breast cancer and survivorship. Megan initially began working in cancer care as an inpatient bedside nurse, where she was amazed by the strength and resilience of people. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA, and transitioned into her work as an advanced registered nurse practitioner. In this role, she works in outpatient hematology and oncology, where she sees and treats a wide range of cancer types and non-cancerous changes in the blood. Megan recognizes that no two people are alike and believes in personalizing treatment plans. It is her goal to partner with her patients and their families to develop a plan of care that is effective and also works well for them.
