843-985-4700Dr. Lisa Lopez is a board-certified pediatrician who speaks fluent Spanish. She completed her pediatric residency at MUSC Children's. She has spent the last 20 years caring for children in the Charleston area.
Her approach emphasizes partnership with parents, preventive care, and thoughtful management of both routine and complex medical needs. She brings extensive clinical experience, a patient-centered philosophy, and a passion for teaching. Her clinical interests include well newborn care, breastfeeding support, and evaluation and repair of tongue-tie, as well as the diagnosis and management of ADHD and other pediatric mental health conditions.
Dr. Lopez also has a special interest in Hispanic health care, adolescent care, sports physicals, and caring for children with complex or chronic medical conditions. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care in a supportive, culturally inclusive and welcoming environment while contributing to the training of the next generation of pediatricians.
