Dr. Kevin P. Horn, Ph.D., M.D. is a nuclear medicine physician with a passion for providing excellent patient care, teaching the next generation of doctors and scientists, and performing cutting-edge research to improve health care in the future. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology and specializes in both the interpretation of imaging studies and the administration of therapies performed within the nuclear medicine division.

Dr. Horn grew up in Ohio and completed his bachelor's degree in molecular genetics at the Ohio State University followed by a doctorate in neuroscience at Case Western Reserve University. He then attended medical school at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Horn moved to Salt Lake City, Utah for internship training at the University of Utah Medical Center as well as to perform nuclear medicine and molecular imaging research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. He relocated to Seattle for nuclear medicine residency training at the University of Washington, where he also completed additional fellowship training in PET/CT.

His research interests focus on the use of nuclear medicine imaging for the diagnosis and treatment response assessment of various cancers, for evaluation of the presence of inflammation in both cancer and noncancer disease processes, and for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's disease.
