Katie Loob, DO

Dr. Loob was raised in Colorado before moving to South Carolina in 2018. Dr. Loob completed her bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado and then obtained her M.S. in Biomedical Sciences at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She received her medical degree at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado. She then moved to Charleston, South Carolina, to complete her residency in pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina. After residency, Dr. Loob loved Charleston so much she decided to make it home and joined the Coastal Pediatric Associates family. We are excited to welcome Dr. Loob, who is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, to our team. Dr. Loob especially loves preventive medicine, obesity management, and breastfeeding medicine. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Loob enjoys exploring the various county parks, going to River Dogs games, and oyster roasts. Although she will always love hiking and skiing in the beautiful, humidity-free Colorado mountains where she grew up, she can proudly say that she has fully embraced Lowcountry living.
