Katherine Welsh, DNP, AGACNP-BC Urology in Charleston, SC

Katherine is an ANCC board-certified nurse practitioner who joined MUSC Urology in 2026. She specializes in men's health within urology, with a focus on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. Originally from Georgia, Katherine earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Emory University's Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. During her training, she successfully defended her dissertation on treatment outcomes for patients undergoing liver transplantation due to alcohol-associated liver disease and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in recognition of her academic excellence.
