Kailee Perkinson, DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC

Dr. Kailee Perkinson is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a focus in caring for patients from adolescence through adulthood. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. As an RN, she completed a nurse residency program focusing in emergency nursing before transferring to critical care nursing in the cardiac intensive care unit. She was a Certified Emergency Nurse and received extensive training in trauma nursing, critical care management and cardiac device management. She received her Masters and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. Through this program she received training and education in all aspects of primary care, acute illness complaints, and the management of chronic diseases. She holds her Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She is currently seeing patients on Daniel Island and downtown at the Bee St. Clinic, focusing on assisting patients reach their highest level of well-being through the implementation of the most recent evidence-based care and preventative medicine. She focuses on connecting with each patient on a personal level, striving to understand each of their unique needs and backgrounds to create a specialized care plan that works for them as an individual. With a wealth of experience in nursing and a strong focus on patient-centered care, Kailee seeks to bring a holistic approach to medicine, emphasizing both the physical and emotional well-being of those under her care.
