Johelen Carleton, M.D., FACS, CPE Vascular Surgery in Orangeburg, SC

Dr. Carleton is a vascular surgeon who specializes in dialysis access. She is a recent president of the Rocky Mountain Vascular Society and remains on the executive council of that organization. She is particularly interested in patient centered care and has authored book chapters on informed surgical consent. She values interdisciplinary teams and medical education. She was the founding program director of the University of Arizona, Phoenix Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship and has had faculty appointments at the University of Arizona and the AT Still School of Medicine.
