Jessica Lyon, M.D. Psychiatry in Charleston, SC

Dr. Jessie Lyon is an attending psychiatrist in the MUSC Brain Stimulation Division, specializing in the use of advanced neuromodulation therapies to treat depression and other treatment-resistant psychiatric illnesses. After completing both her Psychiatry Residency and Brain Stimulation Fellowship at MUSC, she was honored to join the faculty and continue serving patients at the institution where she trained. Dr. Lyon was drawn to brain stimulation after witnessing the profound impact these treatments can have for patients whose symptoms have persisted despite thoughtful treatment with medications, psychotherapy, or both. Her clinical expertise includes electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and accelerated TMS protocols. She is passionate about providing compassionate, collaborative care and helping patients regain hope, function, and quality of life through innovative psychiatric treatments.
