Hannah Hatcher, M.D. Family Medicine, Primary Care in Summerville, SC

Dr. Hannah Hatcher, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ages. Born and raised in North Georgia, Dr. Hatcher cares for the whole person-children, adults, and older adults-with a broad scope that includes preventive care and screenings, chronic disease management, women's health, pediatric and behavioral health, and coordination with specialists. She believes strongly in primary care as the foundation of a healthy community, building trust and continuity over time that lead to earlier diagnosis, better outcomes, and shared decision-making. Known for active listening, clear communication, and genuine empathy, she involves patients as active partners in their own care. Dr. Hatcher completed undergraduate studies at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, GA and earned a medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Columbus, GA, followed by family medicine residency at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA, where she was honored as both Intern of the Year and PGY-2 of the Year. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Hatcher recently moved to South Carolina to be with her husband and is excited to join and serve this community. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband, English cream golden retriever and cats, eating good food, and beach trips.
