Ganapathiram Thangavel Arivudai Nambi, M.D. Neurology, Psychiatry in Charleston, SC

Dr. Ganapathiram (Ram) Nambi received his MD degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2020. Afterwards, he completed the 6 year combined Neurology and Psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and also served as Chief Resident of the combined Neurology and Psychiatry Program. Dr. Nambi specializes in bridging the gap between the fields of neurology and psychiatry. Many diseases have components of both these specialties and his training allows him to treat the brain as a whole. Dr. Nambi's clinical interests include dementia, geriatric psychiatry, psychiatric disorders caused by neurological illness, brain stimulation, and catatonia. His research interests include Lewy Body Dementia. Dr. Nambi is very passionate about teaching residents and medical students.
