Gabriel Roberts, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with a diverse background in both surgical and primary care settings. He began his career at MUSC Health-Orangeburg as a surgical physician assistant, where he assisted in a variety of procedures and provided perioperative care for patients. After several years in surgery, he transitioned to MUSC Health Primary Care - Internal Medicine, where he now focuses on comprehensive patient care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine. Gabriel earned his master's degree in physician assistant studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. He believes patient education is key to effective healthcare and maintains that when patients understand their condition and its causes, they can better care for themselves and actively participate in their own treatment. Even though Gabe is from Alabama, when it comes to barbecue, he will always take Carolina gold over Alabama white sauce. He also enjoys mountain biking and camping and is currently venturing into the world of backpacking.
