Brandy A. Schnipke, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and family medicine at MUSC Health Camden Medical Pavilion. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governors University and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Brandy began her healthcare career more than 30 years ago after obtaining her practical nursing license (LPN) at the former Camden ATEC. She later earned her associate degree in nursing from Central Carolina Technical College in Sumter, South Carolina, and her bachelor's degree in nursing from Western Governors University. Her clinical experience includes work as a licensed practical nurse and registered nurse in geriatric care, gastroenterology, pre-operative care, post-anesthesia care (PACU), and medical-surgical nursing. Brandy participates annually in medical mission trips to Guatemala, where she assists with providing care in rural communities. She practices patient-centered care and believes in empowering patients to take an active role in their healthcare decisions. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine and the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Brandy is excited to serve the community she calls home and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients while continuing to care for the residents of Kershaw County.
