I started my career in Orthopedic Oncology 13 years ago after completing PA school at MUSC. I went to Stanford, where I continued to practice in Orthopedic Oncology 2017-2024, furthered my education and grew professionally. I received a certification in hospital administration and leadership and was nominated for APP of the year in 2024. I recently returned to MUSC to rejoin the Orthopedic Oncology and Sarcoma teams. I carry a special interest in treating patients with metastataic disease to bone. I opened a multidisciplinary Metastatic Disease to Bone Clinic that specializes in taking care of these patients. We partner closely with surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, Pain Team, Palliative Care, and IR to treat patients with painful metastasis to improve their pain and quality of life while prioritizing their disease control with systemic therapy. I am very excited about this endeavor as this is one of the first clinics of its kind in the country and the first in the state. Similar clinics at other academic institutions have shown improved survival data in addition to improving patients' morbidity. My goal is to offer patients early access to this clinic and can often add patients on within 24 hours, including virtual visits.
