Ashlyn Cooper, MD Emergency Medicine

Ashlyn Cooper, MD is an emergency medicine physician and assistant professor at the Medical University of South Carolina. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University and completed her medical degree at MUSC, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Cooper completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital, where she then completed a fellowship in Emergency Medical Services, working closely with Dallas Fire Rescue and Fort Worth Fire Department. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, reading, playing guitar, snowboarding, and spending time at the beach and on the water with her family.
