Dr. Aran O'Malley is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, arthroscopy, shoulder surgery, and knee surgery. He provides comprehensive orthopaedic care for patients of all ages, helping individuals recover from injuries, relieve pain, restore function, and return to the activities they enjoy most. His clinical interests include sports medicine, shoulder and knee conditions, arthroscopic procedures, joint replacement, and general orthopaedics. With additional board certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Dr. O'Malley brings advanced expertise in the treatment of both recreational and competitive athletes, while also caring for patients seeking relief from everyday joint and mobility concerns.





A Charlotte native, Dr. O'Malley has cared for patients in Lancaster since 2009 and is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care close to home. He earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine before completing orthopaedic residency training at the renowned Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. He then completed advanced fellowship training in shoulder surgery, arthroscopy, and sports medicine at Stanford University Medical Center. Throughout his career, Dr. O'Malley has cared for athletes at all levels, including collegiate and professional competitors, and remains passionate about helping every patient achieve the best possible outcome and return to the activities that matter most to them.
