Alexander Fisher, MMS, PA-C Critical Care Medicine, Critical Care Surgery in Charleston, SC

Alexander Fisher, MMS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, with expertise in the management of critically ill surgical, trauma, and burn patients in the intensive care setting at MUSC. He is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, compassionate treatment for patients facing complex and life-threatening conditions. Alexander earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Science, with a minor in Biochemistry, from Spring Hill College before completing his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Charleston Southern University. Prior to joining MUSC, he gained two years of experience in emergency medicine, where he developed a strong foundation in the evaluation and management of acute illness and injury. This experience further strengthened his clinical expertise in caring for critically ill patients and prepared him for the fast-paced environment of surgical critical care. Outside of the ICU, Alex enjoys going to the beach, golf, trying new restaurants, and traveling the globe with his wife, Sonam, searching for the best hiking.
