Abirami Sivapiragasam, M.D.

Dr. Abirami Sivapiragasam, known to her patients as Dr. Abi Siva, is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist with over a decade of experience. Currently, she is the Director of Medical Oncology at the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Previously, she worked as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse, NY. During her tenure there, she also served as the Program Director for the Hematology and Oncology Fellowship program.

Dr. Siva is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. She is also a skilled educator, having trained medical students, residents, and fellows.
