MUSC Health Inpatient Rehabilitation offers intensive therapy for patients recovering from strokes, surgeries, and other serious injuries or illnesses. Our goal is to return each patient to the highest level of function and independence as soon as possible. Over 80 percent of our patients return home within 12 days. Patients receive three hours of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy daily. In addition to private rooms, the rehab unit features a dining room, gymnasium, kitchen, and a small apartment, all designed for practicing activities of daily living and improving functional skills.
